Now is the time to take advantage of the new grant support scheme for on-farm renewables
€10 million is to be made available under the TAMS on-farm investment scheme in the form of grants for energy efficiencies and renewable energy technologies. The new grants will become available under the next tranche of TAMS funding from 5 April next.
On-farm investments eligible for grant support will include solar PV and battery storage installations on farms of up to €9,300, or between 40% and 60% of the overall cost, and LED lighting in all new farm structures under TAMS.
